Caravan Market and Deli

If you are looking for Mediterranean food and grocery I recommend this place, clean, fresh and quality. Dory and Darien have an excellent customer service ,Friendly, very welcoming and helping to get what you want.

I left the store happy with everything I need, with very reasonable prices.

We will be back definitely.

Today was my first time to visit Caravan Market , I’m so happy we finally have a real Mediterranean store and deli in Maryland, so friendly and clean food is delicious and fresh you feel you are with friends or family when you visit them , I’ll send all my friends and family there

There are new owners as of April 2024. A very nice Lebanese couple. The products and food menu changed mostly to Lebanese style, but they kept the Persian menu as well. We loved the Zaban sandwiches.

I can’t say enough great things about Caravan Marker and Deli Middle Eastern market! This is the second time I’ve ordered food from them for my events, and once again, they absolutely delivered. Everyone at both parties raved about how delicious everything was. The flavors were authentic, fresh, and truly made the food a highlight of the events.

The customer service is top-notch — they go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. The owner is incredibly responsible, professional, and genuinely cares about the customer experience. I’ll definitely be coming back for future events. Highly recommend for catering or even just picking up some amazing food!

Stopped by the other day and to my surprise it is under new management. Nice Lebanese owner, very kind and courteous. They have a wonderful variety of Lebanese cooked food offerings that I was pleased to see. Many delicious options available, including shawarma sandwiches. I came in to purchase frozen kataifi dough but will be back to try to food!

Amazing hole in the wall shop. Get the deli food — any of it will blow you away. The fresh bread here is good and the prices are fair and at times cheaper than your local full-size supermarket. Definitely add as a stop in your grocery runs and support this local business.

I love the place! They have fresh breads, including my favorite (Manakeesh), as well as excellent homemade babaganoush. I live in Baltimore but I'll be coming back to Caravan for more whenever I can. The owners are lovely!

The new management of Caravan Market and Deli is friendly and energetic! I got a chicken sandwich. My special request to have it on pita was cheerfully acted upon, and the sandwich was delicious. I also got an absolutely delicious spinach pie and a pack of the dark chocolate-covered, almond-stuffed dates. Out of this world! Lots of specialized products neatly displayed and reasonably priced!

The new owners are so nice. The selections are great, the deli counter is orderly and clean, and best of all, the hot foods are delicious and spot on to their origins. The “kibbee” was fresh and hot and delicious as was the Lebanese meat pies! Going back for kousa stuffed squash. Give them a try!!!

Caravan is a new Lebanese grocery store on Rockville Pike. It is absolutely a hidden gem. I bought already cored squash and already made Shish Barack hats. I’m so excited! I also ordered the dish of the day which was Potato Soufflé. It tasted like home cooking! I might have to go back there for more daily dishes!

They offer an impressive selection of homemade and handmade dishes, all crafted with traditional methods that make each bite feel like a taste of home!

Everything is fresh, especially the Kibbeh, pastries, and stuffed grape leaves—so delicious!

The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind adding to the wonderful experience!

Went to Caravan for the first time in a while. First thing I notice when walking up was a sign in the window that says under new management. The store was out of my usual brand of tahini (Beirut) but I asked the gentlemen at the front if he had a suggestion for an alternative. He was so kind and helpful. He took me to the shelf and told me a little bit about each of the tahini brands. He also made an excellent suggestion for grape leaves **note: they also have fresh grape leaves** the gentleman helping me shared that he is the new owner. his son was working the behind the counter. Such a lovely family, they couldn’t have been nicer! The store was clean and had all the classics. I will definitely be back for all my favorite middle eastern staples.

The owner is a very friendly man. I frequented the place also for years under the previous owners. The current owner has maintained the same high standards.
